Blue Water Express operates 1 or 2 daily return services by fast boat to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Lombok. The Blue Water VII fast boat to Gili operates a direct route from Padang Bai in Bali, in tandem with the Blue Water Express V from Serangan.

Free pickup zones for this service are Central Ubud, Candi Dasa, and Padang Bai. Also includes free hotel transfers to/from the most popular areas in south west Bali: Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, Sanur, Denpasar, Airport, Kerobokan, Petitenget.

If your hotel is outside of the transfer areas above and you would like Blue Water Express to pick you up there will be an additional charge typically between 300 – 400,000rps per car (4pax). Exact amounts will be quoted to you after booking and the pickup is optional, you can always opt to arrange your own transport if preffered. Contact details of the boat operator will be on your e-tickets should you have any further questions about the pick up or boat. If you´re arranging your own transport then checkin time is half an hour before departure time.

Note:  The boat will stop momentarily in Lombok and Gili Air after Gili Trawangan to pick up and drop off passengers. This journey is not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart or back problems, or infants under 2 years.

The pride of the fleet, Blue Water Express VII is an impressive new boat that was launched mid 2014. The fast, sleek and comfortable vessel runs all routes from Bali to Gili Islands and Lombok and has been expertly designed to smoothly navigate the waters of the Lombok strait.

PICK UP INFO

From Nusa Dua and Tanjung Benoa main areas also included, however for Uluwatu and Bingin there is an extra charge of Rp100,000 per person or max Rp250,000 per car.
From Tanah Lot areas the price is Rp350,000 per car.
From Canggu area is Rp50,000 per person.
Please note – baggage allowance is 25kg per person.
Surf boards, dive gear, prams, baby travel cots etc. are not a problem as long as we are notified at the time of booking.

All prices include FREE A/C hotel pick up / drop off to Kuta, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Tanjung Benoa, Nusa Dua, Sanur, Denpasar airport and the surrounding areas. For passengers joining the boat at Padang Bai free pick up / drop off from central Ubud.

Please note; there will be a small additional cost for pick up / drop off outside these areas, please enquire for prices.

Also please be informed there will be no pick up / drop off service provided on the Gili Islands or Lombok; and you can easily walk or get a horse cart, or ask us, or your hotel to make arrangements to meet you with a car and driver in Lombok.

Launched in December 2007, the 25-seat BlueWater Express I has proved it to be a powerful, reliable work-horse. She will continue to operate along side BlueWater Express III in serving Bali – Gili Islands and Lombok throughout 2011 and beyond.

The pride of our fleet is the impressive BlueWater Express VII, launched in July 2014. This vessel runs all routes from Bali to Gili Air, Gili Trawangan and Lombok, and has been designed specifically to handle the waters between Bali and Lombok.

Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions of carriage

This trip is not suitable for:

  1. Pregnant woman
  2. People with heart or back problems or other physical impediments
  3. Infants (children under 3 years old). However if parents insist, they need to complete a Disclaimer Statement releasing BlueWater Safaris and all its officers and / or employees, including agents from negligence and any further legal action by any party, prior to the trip commencement.

In purchasing a ticket all passengers agree to the following:

General: The passenger shall comply with the instructions of the company’s servants and agents concerning all matters connected with the service and shall comply with any notice exhibited on the vessel. The company reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger or goods without assigning reason.

This contract is subject to the laws of Indonesia, and the passenger agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of that country. This contract may only be varied by agreement in writing between the company and the passenger.

Verbal promises by booking agents or clerks will not be recognized by the company.

Insurance and Medical Coverage: PT. BlueWater Safaris insured to a total liability amount of US$50,000. The Company will provide cover for related expenses due to injuries and/or accidents occurred during the transportation to and from Serangan Harbor, Padang Bai Harbour, Teluk Kode, Lombok and Gili Trawangan to the total amount of US $ 5,000. The Insurance covered for passengers from 3 years old until 65 years old. Passengers travel either under or above age mention above have to completed company Disclaimer Letter, releasing the company and all its officers and / or employees, including agents from negligence and any further legal action.

Connecting Flights: PT. BlueWater Safaris is a point to point carrier and we do not take responsibility for delays or connecting flights.

Cancellations & Delays: The company reserves the right to vary the service in any way whatsoever without any liability to the passenger. The company shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury which may arise in the event of cancellation or delay of the service. The company shall not be liable in any way for the cost of any accommodation or for any alternative means of travel which may arise through cancellations or delays. Additional expense so arising shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the passenger.

The company reserves the right to cancel a booking or change the schedule at anytime prior to poor weather conditions or any circumstances beyond the reasonable for any safety reason.

Re-Scheduling : Re-scheduling is based on seat availability and should be made 2 x 24 hours prior to guest departure for regular season and 7 x 24 hours prior to guest departure for high season (June 1 – September 30 & December 20 – January 5)

Refunds: The company reserves the right, in the event of a ticket or booking being cancelled by the passenger, to charge cancellation fees as follows: Cancellation within 48 hours of travel: no refund. Cancellation more than 48 hours from date of travel: 50% refund.

Baggage Allowance: Each passenger is entitled to a maximum of 2 pieces luggage carried free of charge, not exceeding a total weight of 25kg. If loading is available then excess luggage will be carried at the company’s standard rates, or may be stored at the company’s office in Bali if space is available. The company reserves the right to check contents of any baggage, and to refuse baggage items.

The company accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to luggage during transit.

Road transportation in Bali: Road transportation is provided free of charge to / from ONE SPECIFIC ADDRESS in designated areas of Bali. This address must be specified at the time of booking, and may only be changed minimum 24 hours prior to departure. Our drivers are under strict instructions to refuse to take passengers to more than one location (ie – they will not drive around trying to find a hotel if the passenger has not specified and address)
